Speedway Videos has turned off their camera for the final time. We filmed our last race at 411 Motor Speedway in October of this year.

Tammy and Richard would like to thank all of the Track Owners, Series, Drivers and Fans of racing for their great support over the years.

Some may know that Richard raced off and on in his younger years (18-29), and Richard picked up the video camera after giving up racing. Well, Richard raced about 9 races in 2007 and has the fever to drive once again! Richard is turning 40 in February and seems to have decided to have his mid-life crisis by racing in the local FWD classes here in Tennessee.

The following people need a very special thanks:

Donnie & Carol Yocum for giving us our start as videographers in 95 & 96. Thanks for taking a chance with us.
Carson Branum for giving us our first break in Tennessee at Smoky Mountain back in 2000.
Joe, PD, RW, and Beverly from Volunteer Speedway. When we thought we were done in 2002, they invited us to Volunteer and treated us like family. We stayed there until 2005.
Roy Webb & Mike Copeland for all of their advice and help in making us better & bigger than we thought we could be. Roy gave us advice on what drivers wanted and talked us into doing in-car cameras. Mike did more than anybody by creating Speedway Video's first website, giving us a place to post pictures & videos, and so much more. We will never be able to repay him for what he has done for us.
Sports Plus Video, who answered every question we asked. We learned a lot about shooting video by talking with and watching their videos. Steve deserves a lot of the credit for the way we shoot races.
Thanks to everybody who helped Speedway Videos throughout the years!

Flipper's 1st visit @ Lake Cumberland Speedway 9-29-07, Story and Video

gas $55 for Van
gas $22 for Racecar
sodas and Ice $11
4 Hamburgers $10
2 pit passes $50

Racing at Lake Cumberland Speedway = Priceless $$$

Let me start by saying sorry to the Lewis Brothers and Ronnie Bibbens ( sorry guys ). Ronnie called me about 2:37 on saturday and ask me if I was going to cleveland I told him No , I had hurt my back Friday and didnt work on my car. (remeber the starter was bad). Well I got off the phone with him and got the fire brewing to race. Went outside and got the car fired up and got another phone call from Mr. Brian McDaniel (sponsor) saying they (several classics) were heading to Lake Cumberland and would be there if we needed any help. Well this is the only reason we hadnt gone there was we didnt want to go alone. So I took this oppurtunity and went with them. We were planning to go to Cleveland. But could not pass the oppurtunity to go this time.

Well it was a uneventful night for us , car was driven back onto the trailor. Good clean driving by all the front runners. We finished 4th with a 10th place car. Attrition , Attrition , Attrition. We blew the right rear shock in hot laps (no spare), qualified , yes qualified 2nd two last. Tires , Tires , Tires , gotta learn about tires. We put our tall ones on , run out of zoom at flagstand , changed tires , smallest one we had and run 3rd gear. Car got faster , maybe a top 6 car now. We hope the young lady who was driving the other 13 car is ok , EMTs were sent to her car after a crash. Got there at 6. Hot laps started at 7:30 , races were over by 12:22.

you can watch the racing action , or my lack of on my youtube website. http://youtube.com/FlipperFord13

again thanks to Crows Alignment , V-Tech Automotive , Brian McDaniel Trucking , Speedway Videos.

Thank you Tammy , we are having fun again at the races.

When we were young we used to go "skinny dipping," now in our old age we just "chunky dunk."

Not as good as it was in Jeff Lippere little hotrod. I may talk his wife into having him take her to the UT game again soon.

Started off bad , starter was out before we left home and didnt get the replacement. Had to push start car all night. I hated it , its one thing if it goes out at the track but its another to take it to the track knowing its out . But thanks to everybody who helped pushing me off every time . I hope I never have to ask yall to do that for me anymore. Thanks.

Hot laps went ok , had a small miss but car felt fast passed 2 cars "clean" (if youve seen me hotlap you understand)
Heat 1 started 3rd finished 5th , got into #77 oops, not suppose to go backwards , 6 cars started
Feature Event Started 10th finish 9th. Missed big wreck when #9pm motor went boom and oil collected 4 cars. On the restart we made 1 lap and someone else blew up ???? dont know who ,but oil all over turn #1. They gave us a green yellow threw turn 1 to see if track was good , I lost it and went threw the infield. I then decided to waive the field behind me by so I didnt cause the next big wreck and could race again next week. I was never able to make upground , I fellback 2 car lenths every lap. We had 1 more caution and went green white checkered. Jeff Lippere #61 got the Win

plus side to night , was great to be back in our car and we did finish 1 spot better than we started feature. Finally meet the Cross guys.

Things learned , tires were to small , need 235 65 r 15's , never go to a track with out your car right before you show up.
Car & driver has to get better. ALOT BETTER

Thanks to Bryan McDaniel Trucking , Crows Alignment , V- TECH Automotive , Speedway Videos

well thats it ,cant wait to get back. Still having fun.
