Many of you might have seen on the news where severe storms along with extreme tornadoes hit the states of Arkansas, Tennessee, Kentucky, and Alabama. You always see it on the news, your heart goes out to those effected, but its different when it hits right in your own community. 40 miles away in Macon Co. Tennessee, an F2 tornado 3/4 of a mile wide raged through the county at around 10:30 Tuesday night, killing at least 13 people with around that many missing. 200 Families are homeless, most of the county is still without running water or electricity. A bitter sweet moment happend to one of our own MyRacePage.com members. Wilson County EMT David Harmond as he along with other emergency crews searched for survivors shortly after the tornado struck. David found what he thought was a doll, but turned out to be a baby in a field. He quickly grabbed the baby to check for a pulse, when it let out a cry. My hat off to you David, and everyone thats helped and helping in this time of need. THANK YOU. You can read more about the situation at http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080207/ap_on_re_us/severe_weather
